The CCDCA collection comprises 567 strains of filamentous fungi belonging to the genera Aspergillus and Penicillium isolated from various substrates including food, agricultural product, soils of cultivated areas, soils of mining area, wine grapes and processed products such as cheeses, chocolate, sweets and drinks. It is an important resource for the development of biodiversity, taxonomy and biotechnological research
