The Invertebrate Collection of the Federal University of Sergipe (CZUFS) is the largest collection in the Department in terms of the number of specimens, comprising approximately 200,000 specimens, mostly preserved in fluid. The collection is housed in a dedicated physical space, with an area of approximately 58 m2, equipped with shelves and metal cabinets, type-material storage, and basic curatorial infrastructure.
