The herbarium's seed plant collection focuses on plants from the coastal region of the Amazon. The collection of mosses, liverworts, lycopods, horsetails and ferns includes material from the Amazon region as a whole. At the moment, the herbarium includes >6.500 collections.

Conditions for using the data

Provided that the source is properly cited, data made available by the herbarium HBRA may be used freely for scientific purposes. The HBRA curators appreciate being informed about publications using data made available by HBRA. For other than scientific purposes, data are made available under Open Database License whose full text can be found at http://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/. Any rights in individual contents of the database are licensed under the Database Contents License whose text can be found http://opendatacommons.org/licenses/dbcl/
