The creation of the MFS Herbarium represents another step toward strengthening the dialogue between science, technology and society in the Amazon region. With these directions and institutional partnerships (Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi and Embrapa Amazônia Oriental), the Universidade do Estado do Pará solidifies its commitment to host plant patrimony.
