The amphibian collection of ZUEC has animals collected in Brazil and other countries of the Americas, Africa and Asia. There are about 16 thousand lots deposited, including 3 orders, about 50 families, 180 genera and 500 species. The collection is divided into: nests, ovules, eggs, tadpoles, stained animals, and post-metamorphic adults. There are also type individuals of more than 70 species.

Conditions for using the data

The amphibian collection data is available for inspection and use by the following conditions: a) any use of data must be acknowledged,with the indication of the origin of data, b) the Amphibian curator must be notified, c) data, even partial, can not be redistributed without explicit written permissionfrom the amphibian curator, d) a copy of any published material should be sent to the Museum of Zoology, e) users and their institutions are responsible for the properuse of the data. The accuracy of the identification of specimens and associated data is not guaranteed.
