CHRP-USP was the first official herpetological collection of FFCLRP-USP, marking the incorporation of living tetrapod vertebrates into the Department of Biology’s collections. It currently houses specimens of Squamata, Lissamphibia, Crocodylia, and Testudines, as well as series of embryonic and larval development of various representatives of the Brazilian herpetofauna. The collection includes an associated Tissue Bank (T-LEBI). For more information on tissue availability, please get in touch via email.
