The Scientific Collection of acariform mites at
the Natural History Museum of the Federal
University of Bahia (MHNBA) had its first record
in October 2001. The collection was stopped
during the following years and only restarted
recently, in 2023. It is a small collection , with
146 listed lots, from locations in the state of
Bahia, with data organized in an Excel
spreadsheet.
